天涯社区 Ambulance Gets Makeover Thanks to JetScape Signarama

Florida SouthWestern State College鈥檚 (天涯社区) Emergency Service Programs received a new vinyl wrap for their ambulance this summer thanks to a generous donation from JetScape Signarama, Inc., and the talents of one 天涯社区 student.
Joseph Washburn, Program Director of Emergency Service Programs, contacted Director of Communications Teresa Morgenstern who reached out to 天涯社区 Foundation Senior Director of Development Paul Bova about replacing the ambulance鈥檚 exterior. The older Collier County EMS logos on the ambulance had been fading and didn鈥檛 represent the new 天涯社区 brand.
They asked 天涯社区 Professor Dina Kelm鈥檚 art classes to conceptualize a design that would incorporate the Emergency Services Program and the College鈥檚 brand.
This spring the 天涯社区 Foundation secured a generous donation from JetScape Signarama, Inc. 鈥� a local company since 1997 that has completed quality work on numerous city and county vehicles 鈥� for the installation of the wrap with 天涯社区 student John Alday鈥檚 design.
Bova said the project was a great example of collaboration between the College, local business and the community.
鈥淭his is what happens when a team and a community comes together to solve a problem,鈥� said Bova. 鈥淥ur EMT program asked the College and Foundation for assistance and I reached out to the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce to see if they had any members who could help us. They put me in contact with Mike Tissier from Signarama and this is the end product.鈥�
鈥淲e wanted to give back to the community,鈥� said Mike Tissier, President of JetScape Signarama, Inc. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a labor of love to transform something old into something beautiful.鈥�
The ambulance was donated to the College by Collier County EMS and serves as an important training tool for future Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) and Paramedics in 天涯社区鈥檚 School of Health Professions.
