天涯社区 Welcomes New Vice Provost for Student Affairs

SEPTEMBER 15, 2020 鈥� FORT MYERS, FLA 鈥� Florida SouthWestern State College (天涯社区) recently welcomed Dr. Michele Yovanovich as vice provost for Student Affairs. She will provide leadership for all 天涯社区 student life and housing, enrollment management and athletics.
This marks Dr. Yovanovich鈥檚 return to 天涯社区. Previously, she served as district director for Student Development, coordinator of College-Student Relations and Marketing, and institutional test administrator and assessment counselor in the 1990s at then Edison Community College.
Prior to returning to 天涯社区, Dr. Yovanovich served as assistant vice president for Campus Life and Dean of Students, director of Admissions and Recruitment, and director of Alumni Relations at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU).
Dr. Yovanovich is active in national organizations and an adjunct faculty member in the FGCU Master鈥檚 Program in the department of Leadership, Technology and Research. She received her A.A. from Central Florida Community College, B.A. from Stetson University, master鈥檚 degree from the University of Georgia and doctorate from Argosy University.
